Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 hours/week MondayFriday between 5:45 AM 5:30 PM (8.5-hour shifts) with occasional Saturdays and holiday coverage
Pay Rate: $28 $31 per hour

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Phlebotomistfor an exciting job in Harwich MA.

Key Responsibilities

Collect blood and other clinical specimens from patients and transport them to the laboratory.
Update the laboratory team regarding changes in patient orders.
Educate patients on proper specimen collection procedures.
Inspect restock and maintain phlebotomy supplies as needed.
Recommend workflow or quality improvements to leadership.
Uphold strict confidentiality of all sensitive information.
Maintain cooperative and professional relationships with staff providers patients and visitors.
Keep workstations testing areas and equipment clean sanitary and organized.
Participate in ongoing training workshops and professional development.
Stay informed on departmental and facility policies including emergency procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Ability to read write and follow written instructions.
Completion of Medical Terminology I or equivalent experience OR at least six (6) months of work in a role requiring medical terminology (e.g. CNA Unit Clerk Medical Records Clerk ED Clerk Admitting Clerk Laboratory Information Coordinator).
Completion of an 80-hour traineeship or basic phlebotomy program with classroom instruction and supervised practical experience.
Phlebotomy Certification required.
Computer literacy required.
