ABM Technical Solutions is searching for an Area General Manager to lead our Building & Energy Solutions business inNorthern California. The mission is to continue to develop the existing culture see the big picture on how sales and operations work together and create a winning & profitable operation that successfully serves ABMs customers through our engaged people every day. The selected candidate reporting directly to theRegionalVice President will be responsible for theAreassales operations and profit/loss.
Pay: $190000 - $225000
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicantseducation experience skills abilities geographic locationand alignment with market data.

Essential Duties
Establish and execute strategic and tactical plans to grow the Mechanical HVAC Electrical and Lightingservice business.
Own the sales plan and actively work to achieve that plan through sales leadership and direct selling.
Mentor and build sales team in the development and implementation of effective sales strategies for maintenance and project sales.
Assign goals and regularly measure results for sales and operations.
Increase existing customer base and maintenance coverage through targeted and effective solution sales techniques.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers vendors and other outside agents.
Direct purchasing decisions and activities as necessary.
Promote professionalism and pride in order to attract high caliber talent.
Monitor A/P and A/R to assure optimum cash flow.
Management of branch profit & loss (P&L)
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Bachelors Degree strongly preferred High School Diploma or GED is required.
MBA and/or other advanced education is desirable.
Minimum five (5) years inHVAC Electrical or Lightingbuilding services.
Minimum five (5) years of experience managing people ideally managing managers of people.
Minimum of two (2) years of critical P&L focus with strategic financial planning and analysis skills to drive growth is required.
Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets/P&L strongly preferred.
Experience successfully using a conceptual sales cycle selling financially justified solutions.
Previous experience and knowledge of HVAC designs HVAC maintenance & project sales applications andelectrical systems a big plus.
Strong leadership and hands-on team building qualities.
