Scheduled Weekly Hours:

Join our Ophthalmology (Eye) Clinic team as a Registered Nurse providing specialized care for patients undergoing eye injections and diagnostic procedures. This role offers autonomy collaboration with providers and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping preserve patients vision.

Location: La Crosse WI (with outreach to Onalaska WI and Winona MN)

Hours: 0.9 FTE 72 hours every two weeks

Schedule: MondayFriday 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7:00 AM 5:00 PM

What you will do:

Prepare patients for eye injections including numbing and assisting providers during procedures.
Perform IV starts and administer dye for Fluorescein angiography.
Complete documentation and ensure injections meet insurance timing requirements.
Conduct patient phone calls and triage as needed.
Collaborate closely with ophthalmic assistants technicians and schedulers.
Outreach 2-3 times a month per nurse to Onalaska WI and Winona MN

What you need:

Current RN license to work in Wisconsin. RN license to work in Minnesota needed with in 90 days of hire
BLS for health care providers
Minimum of 1 year RN experience
Ability to work independently and adapt to meet patient needs
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
