Quality Inspector

Job Summary

If you are looking for a Quality Inspector role Emerson has a great opportunity for you! Based in our Singapore location this role will handle inspections and testing of received parts.

In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Perform inspection on physical mechanical and/or electrical properties of received parts or sub-assemblies according to the defined criteria and collection plan.
• Monitor and report the results of the inspections and testing.
• Assist in the reporting and monitoring on non-conforming material.
• Manage and maintain all quality documents and records.
• Assist in the construction and/or revision inspection procedures work instructions and checklists.
• Monitor and coordinate calibration of all measuring equipment fixtures and critical operation equipment and instrumentation.
• Assist in other tasks as assigned by the superior.
• Ensures all activities are carried out safely complying with Environment Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines and procedures.
• Proficient in regular measurement instruments.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and knowledge on Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T).
• Demonstrate knowledge in material certification sampling plan non-conformance handling process.
• Possess good interpersonal and strong communication skills.

For This Role You Will Need:

• Proficient in regular measurement instruments.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and knowledge on Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T).
• Demonstrate knowledge in material certification sampling plan non-conformance handling process.
• Possess good interpersonal and strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical/Electrical with at least 2 to 5 years of work experience in inspection environment is preferred.
