Salary: $77000 $100000 per annum

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary this role you will provide client-centered support to individuals families and communities focusing on social and emotional wellbeing. You will work collaboratively with health professionals to deliver culturally appropriate interventions and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver social work services to clients and families including assessment case management and therapeutic support.
Advocate for clients to access health housing education and social services.
Work within a trauma-informed and culturally safe framework.
Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure holistic care.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with professional standards.

Skills and Experience Required

A degree in Social Work OR any qualification or certification relevant to social work practice.
Minimum 1 year of experience in social work practice.
Eligibility for AASW membership (preferred).
Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities (highly regarded).
Strong understanding of social determinants of health and trauma-informed care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Current drivers license and ability to travel within remote communities.
Current Blue Card or ability to obtain.
