About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary this role you will provide client-centered support to individuals families and communities focusing on social and emotional wellbeing. You will work collaboratively with health professionals to deliver culturally appropriate interventions and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver social work services to clients and families including assessment case management and therapeutic support.
- Advocate for clients to access health housing education and social services.
- Work within a trauma-informed and culturally safe framework.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with professional standards.
About You
- Degree in Social Work and eligibility for AASW membership.
- Experience in social work practice preferably in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Strong understanding of social determinants of health and trauma-informed care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current drivers license and ability to travel within the region.
- Current Blue card or ability to obtain
