Provide career advising and career education programs for College of Engineering with a primary focus on graduate students. Serve as team lead for marketing & communications. We are a six-person team running a full-service career office for students who are smart hard-working and in high demand for their STEM skills & education.
Programs and services include:
- Individual advising workshops career courses and online resources.
- Career fairs hosted in fall and spring both in-person and virtual.
- Alumni mentorship & networking programs employer outreach and event hosting.
- High-quality marketing to promote our events programs and opportunities.
- Survey & data collection on internship and first-destination outcomes.

Responsibilities include:
- Provide 1:1 career advising for students from all College of Engineering programs with special emphasis on advising undergraduate students. Create deliver and continually improve career education programs.
- Create distribute and continually improve career education content including how-to guides and online video instruction.
- Provide outreach to student groups to deliver partnered career programs especially events related to diversity equity and inclusion.
- Serve as team lead in one of the following support functions based on strengths and interests: Planning & Management & Communications Engagement Engagement & Platform Management Education Content Management.
Required Skills
Bachelors degree required Masters degree preferred 3-5 years of related experience Please submit resume and cover letter with your application.
