Responsibilities
The Provider Outreach Specialist is responsible for driving provider growth for Community Provider Plus (CPP) and the Community Collaborative Care Network (CCCN) in the California Central Valley/Fresno County region. This high-level individual contributor role focuses on marketing and selling the value of network participation to independent physician practices and medical groups cultivating strong provider relationships and converting prospects into active participants.
Acting as a sales professional and trusted partner the Specialist manages the full business development cycle from lead generation through close working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term provider satisfaction. This role directly contributes to expanding network adequacy supporting value-based care initiatives and positioning the hospital systems Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) for long-term success.
This position requires an extensive amount of travel with approximately 80% of time spent on the road visiting provider offices attending meetings and participating in community events throughout the Central Valley and Fresno County region. Candidates must be comfortable with frequent travel maintaining a flexible schedule and representing the organization in a wide variety of practice and community settings.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelors Degree in Business Healthcare Administration Marketing or a related field required
- Masters Degree preferred
Experience
- 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare sales provider relations business development or network growth within a hospital MSO ACO or CIN environment required
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a healthcare setting with a track record of building and converting provider pipelines required
- Experience in healthcare sales
- Experience of managing a full business development cycle from lead generation through conversion (closing).
- Experience using Salesforce
- Experience using Epic
- Experience using Quest
