RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal Quebec the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

Position summary
Department / Research Program: MUHC Vaccine Study Centre in Pierrefonds

The Junior Assistant is a career researcher who assists a senior researcher. The duties of a Research Assistant involve a substantial degree of intellectual initiative in the execution of his or her duties.

General Duties
Work with the principal investigators to design and conduct projects focused on the implementation of evidence-based interventions to improve surgical outcomes in routine clinical practice
Liaise with external collaborators
Engage in administrative duties related to projects
Assist with reports manuscripts and grant applications
Aliquot serum samples.

Required Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision.

Additional information

Status: Temporary part-time (21h/week)
Pay Scale: Commensurate with education and experience. $19.22 - $28.82/h.
Work Shift: Variable Schedule
