Keep Our Kitchen Moving Join Our Team as a Dishwasher/Sanitation Technician!
In this essential role you ensure our patients and guests receive meals on clean safe and sanitized serviceware. Your work helps support every department in Nutrition Services and keeps operations flowing day after day.

What Were Looking For

Were seeking someone who is:

  • Reliable hardworking and able to stay on task

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks

  • Detail-oriented and committed to cleaning and safety standards

  • Able to lift bend and be on your feet throughout the shift

  • A team player with a positive attitude

  • Experienced in food service or sanitation (preferred not required)

  • Able to follow instructions and work independently when needed

  • Willing to complete Food Handler or ServSafe certification within 6 months

What Youll Be Doing

As a Dishwasher/Sanitation Technician your responsibilities include:

  • Operating commercial dish machines and hand-washing equipment

  • Sanitizing dishes utensils cookware and meal service items

  • Maintaining a clean organized dish room and work area

  • Breaking down cleaning and reassembling dish machines and equipment

  • Keeping trash recycling and compost areas cleaned and emptied

  • Stocking clean dishes and serviceware for kitchen and trayline teams

  • Following strict food safety and sanitation practices

  • Assisting with general kitchen cleaning as needed

Every clean tray pan and utensil you handle directly contributes to safe dependable meal service for patients and staff.

Shift:

Variable (United States of America)

Schedule: PRN as needed schedule Some Holiday & Weekend availability required.

Variable shifts including weekend and holidays. On Call Coverage required.

PRN positions (also referred to as Casual As Needed or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods employee absences and vacations making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs.Pay rates and scheduling practices may vary by department.
