How will you make an impact:

As an experienced Packaging Room Leader on our Indianapolis team you will timely and accurately assemble and/or label pharmaceutical clinical trial treatments and supplies following all associated manufacturing regulatory standards and procedures. Prepare work centers for Execution and Line Clearances and ensure all GMP standards are met. Interpret batch record paperwork to ensure the correct process is being performed. Assign all production personnel in the room to a specific task and ensures compliance with the batch paperwork by having them accurately demonstrate their assigned task to assess proficiency.

Shift schedule: 2:45 pm - 1:30 am (10 hours) Monday - Thursday. Required OT on Fridays.

What will you do:

  • Daily you will review batch paperwork to perform the required packaging procedures required for assembly of each study.
  • Assumes responsibility for all activities performed within their assigned production room.
  • At job completion all materials are accounted for and documented ensuring accountability limits specified in the SOPs are met.
  • Accurately count out and prepare packaging supplies to ensure accurate inventory prior to and at the completion of each job order. Accept/reject product to make sure they meet our acceptability and quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications (including competencies education experience physical requirements)

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Required: Minimum 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing packaging production or related job.
  • You will also assist Quality Assurance personnel and Production Supervisors in staging and reconciliation of components as encouraged.
  • Performs final check of work in-process and finished products and then packs these goods into appropriately labeled containers.
  • You will need to clean production rooms and machinery to meet acceptability requirements to ensure the safety and well-being of those receiving our products after.
  • Able to coordinate multiple rooms in the area.
  • Read and interpret procedure manuals training materials and product records.
  • Independently follow procedures and instructions and mentor new employees.
  • Great teammate who completes tasks safely accurately and timely and helps others as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Experience working in the pharmaceutical or food and beverage industry.
  • Ability to stand for long intervals of time and lift or move up to 25 lbs.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and gowns in work centers.
  • Wear Vision Acuity with minimum 20/40 corrected vision and color vision.
