Job Summary
Job Title:Occupational Therapist - Adult Social Care

Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Social Care team in Nottingham on a locum basis. This is a community-focused role where you will deliver assessments and interventions that promote independence reduce reliance on care packages and ensure safe and effective moving and handling practices.
What will your responsibilities be
- Assess and prescribe moving and handling equipmentto meet individual needs
- Deliversingle-handed care solutionsto promote independence and reduce care reliance
- Review and reduce packages of carethrough effective assessment and intervention
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across health and social care services
- Maintain accurate records in line with professional and statutory requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have
- Degree/MSc in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC Registration
- Experience in Adult Social Care
- Proven ability inassessing and prescribing moving and handling equipment
- Experience insingle-handed care approaches
- Skilled inreviewing and reducing care packages
- Experience with Liquid Logicpreferred
