The Wellness Administrative Assistant (WAA) will report to the Health and Wellness Director.
Salary Range: $23.00 - $25.00 Hourly
Responsibilities and Duties
Maintain the safety comfort dignity and confidentiality of all residents staff and families.
Coordinates interviews and orientation for new team members.
Ensures all assigned residents are clean neatly dressed groomed safe and fed during assigned shifts.
Documents and updates the EHR as directed and under the supervision of the HWD.
Appropriately utilizes and keeps electronic documentation devices safe and secure within the community.
Participates in and attends all in-service training(s) as scheduled.
Ensures compliance with all Federal State and local regulations as well as community policies and procedures.
Perform and oversee staffing scheduling (state specific).
Assists with communication via telephone facsimile and/or email with families physicians third party vendors and/or staff.
Schedules appointments for residents as directed from the nursing staff.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or ED
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED. At least 1 year resident care experience required.
Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aid a plus
Knowledge and experience in working with the elderly population preferred dementia experience
