Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. no more than 8 hours per day (except for month-end closeout).

We are seeking a detail-oriented AP/Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills solid accounting knowledge and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Match invoices to receiving documents and verify accuracy.

  • Review all invoices for proper documentation and approval before payment.

  • Post invoices into the accounting system.

  • Prepare and print accounts payable checks; obtain signatures and distribute as required.

  • Generate AP checks and refund checks.

  • Prepare garnishment checks based on payroll reports.

  • Complete bank reconciliations and general reconciliations.

  • Assist with reserve statements CIT reporting product payables and mistake report management.

  • Clear schedules and assist with monthly closing processes.

  • Research vendor statements discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries.

  • File paid and unpaid invoices and statements.

  • Maintain a cooperative and professional manner with team members.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Prior accounting or accounts payable experience required.

  • Strong Excel skills (sorting formulas reconciliation).

  • Ability to complete bank reconciliations and various accounting schedules.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
