Central Coast Home Health & Hospiceis a fast-growing locally owned andoperatedorganization with an excellent reputation throughout the Central Coast. We are now seeking afull-timeMedical Social Workerto workwithbothHome Health and Adult Hospice patientsin theSan Luis Obispo-Coast area (San Luis Obispo Los Osos Morro Bay Cambria).This individual will be working in our Hospice and Home Health Program with a lot of autonomy and flexibility while also receiving meaningful direction and supervision from an LCSW. Clinical Supervision is available.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Sociology Psychology Human Development or masters degreefrom a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
- Minimum of one-year social work experience in a healthcare setting home health &/or hospice experience preferred.
- Understand thehospice philosophy and issues of death and dying
- Reliable vehicle to drive for work
- Current Drivers license
- Clean background & driving record
- Maintain auto insurance coverage
- CPR certified
