Full Time $70000$80000 3 Years Property Accounting Experience

Our clientan established Boston-based property management company with more than 60 years in the industryis seeking aProperty Accountantto join their onsite corporate team (Boston MA 02116). This role supports accounting operations for a portfolio of 812 multifamily properties (approx. 2500 units).

What Youll Do

ManageAP & ARfor assigned properties
Completebank reconciliationsand prepare journal entries
Review monthly financials and key reports (GPR misc. income expenses)
Handlemonth-end reconciliationsand recordbad debt write-offs
Ensure timely payment ofreal estate & personal property taxes
Reconcileresident depositsand assist with ledger adjustments
Monitor scheduled charges lease expirations deposit reports
Trackreplacement reserves
Build strong knowledge ofEntrata Core; assist with staff support/training
Support senior accounting ownership and property management teams
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

What You Bring

3 years bookkeeping/accounting experience (property management preferred)
Experience withEntratais a plus
Proficiency inMicrosoft Excel and Word
Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask meet deadlines and work independently
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Professional reliable and eager to learn
