Do you want to help us build the DNA of Thin Film is currently seeking applicants for a Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Supervisor.

Job Location:

Vishay Thin Film is located in Niagara Falls NY. The site has a lot of natural beauty to offer including the world-famous Niagara Falls which are just a short drive away!

What you will be doing:

  • Supervise facility including ensuring related departments (e.g. equipment maintenance) maximize production equipment availability
  • Supervise technicians in production equipment repair and maintenance
  • Oversee compliance to corporate and legal requirements interface with outside agencies/vendors
  • Track and maintain maintenance KPIs against targets
  • Investigate plan and implement facility and production equipment upgrades
  • Maintain spare parts inventory

What you will bring along:

  • Associates degree or equivalent in a related discipline
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience coupled with experience in building electrical systems compressed air systems plumbing and HVAC systems
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment including general equipment electrical controls pneumatics and equipment mechanicals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Math and computer skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities required
  • Collaborative mindset and curiosity to drive continuous improvement


Salary Range:

$80000 - $90000 a year
