About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citcos core business and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industrys most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience. This investment approach is reflected in the launch of our Retail Alternative Transfer Agency.

As a core member of our Investor Relations team within our transfer agency offering you will be working with some of the industrys most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Your Role:

  • You will be reporting to the Executive Vice President of the Retail Alternatives team. This is a role that requires proactive relationship management with several dealer platforms and other third parties.
  • You will be expected to understand the business requirements and challenges of external platform providers and work to agree service deliverables and ensure a consistent global approach to these relationships. It is important to create and nurture long term relationships with these third parties and work with core and ancillary service teams both locally and globally to ensure service levels are optimum.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with introducers platforms and other key internal/external parties as required
  • Drive strategic communication with third parties and negotiate service level agreements (SLA)
  • Review platform provider requests in line with our systems and technology offering to ensure optimum automation. Provide strategic input on development to improve our service offering to other technology enabled providers.
  • Understand and communicate platform provider requests with various Citco business functions in particular IR TA and internal Citco support teams and the Investment Manger to promote effective internal communication
  • Understand the industry and regulatory environment and be sensitive to industry change and business trends identifying how these changes impact platform relationships
  • Manage global AML/KYC requirements between platforms and the relevant compliance teams
  • Drive the coordination of new client integrations and existing client launches on platforms
  • In partnership with Client Services facilitate presentations to existing and prospective clients
  • Participate and lead projects in connection with the continuing evolution of the business
  • Monitor and manage client SLAs and operational deliverables
  • Work closely with the Investor Relations teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and system development with the aim of minimizing operational risk and improving efficiency.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Citco systems and remain apprised of regulations that affect IR
  • Propose and develop department-wide operational improvements in consultation with the other VPs in IR
  • Collaborate within and across departments on client/platform deliverables and strategic initiatives
  • Participate in IR initiatives to maintain Citcos pre-eminent position in the marketplace
  • Attend and/or provide training in any of Citcos global offices

About You:

  • You have a University Degree in a relevant discipline with 8 years related work experience in the financial services industry preferably within a hedge fund administrator and/or investment company.
  • 2 years formal people management/ leadership experience
  • Proven interest in the financial markets and understanding of all lines of business
  • Demonstrated leadership experience coupled with superior communication skills
  • Highly analytical with strong attributes on business processes Accounting and allocation systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel and PowerPoint) and Outlook AXI
  • Knowledge about existing AXI distributor support model is a plus
