Resource Specialist
Preferred skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive team player with ability to forge stakeholder partnerships and to influence decision-making
- Solid communication and presentation skills and proficient in MS Office applications to prepare reports presentations and other documentation
- Effective time management skills to prioritize and multi-task
- Self-motivated and agile able to quickly adapt to changes and work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with Planview and Workday tools is a plus
Qualifications
- Overall 6 years of experience in resource management and capacity planning
- At least 3 years of experience working in the IT industry
Responsibilities
Resource Planning and Management
- Perform due diligence on demand request hires to ensure that it aligns with process guidelines
- Match and fulfill project demands with the right resources in a timely fashion
- Execute optimal demand fulfillment and hiring strategies that align with company goals and financial targets
Reporting and Analysis
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize workforce planning strategies and make informed staffing decisions
- Perform trend and variance analysis and maintain and/or keep track of key metrics related to the demand request process and recommend and implement actions to address any issues
- Create concise and effective reports relating to the demand request process for management reviews
Process Improvement
- Monitor and review the resource management and capacity planning process to help identify continuous improvement opportunities
Stakeholder Communication
- Collaborate with human resources delivery/project managers finance talent development and business excellence to meet key success metrics
Training and Support
- Drive and promote the effective use of workforce management tools and provide support to stakeholders
