The Director of Credentialing will lead and manage all credentialing and re-credentialing activities for clinical providers ensuring accuracy compliance and timely completion. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can streamline processes maintain regulatory standards and collaborate across HR billing and clinical departments to support efficient onboarding.
The ideal candidate is proactive organized and capable of improving systems tracking expirations and maintaining high compliance across multiple providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all credentialing and re-credentialing activities for providers
- Maintain accurate records and ensure payer and accreditation compliance
- Collaborate with HR billing and clinical teams to support onboarding
- Track expirations renewals licenses and certifications
- Develop update and improve credentialing policies and workflows
- Ensure timely submissions and follow-through with payers and regulatory bodies
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of credentialing experience required (healthcare or behavioral health preferred)
- Strong understanding of payer and regulatory credentialing requirements
- Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and workflow management abilities
