The Koch Internship Program(KIP) is a paid 12-week experiential learning program run by Stand Together Fellowships that offers meaningful work experience at non-profits all over the United States tackling some of our nations most pressing challenges. Eligible candidates will be geographically located within the U.S. and authorized to work in the U.S. through the duration of the program.
Throughout your internship you will gain meaningful professional experience at a partner organization and participate in professional development built around a 2-day in-person summit hosted by Stand Together Fellowships at Stand Togethers Headquarters in Arlington Virginia supported by virtual programming that takes place every other Thursday between 1- 3:30 pm ET. Interns will receive either a $7500 or $5500 stipend from Stand Together Fellowships depending on whether they are participating full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (24 hours/week).
The programming provided by Stand Together Fellowships focuses on three objectives:
1. understanding the foundational principles of a free society such as individual liberty limited government free markets and the rule of law;
3. presenting opportunities and pathways to build a career that advances liberty and free society.

About New Civil Liberties Alliance:
The New Civil Liberties Alliance is a nonpartisan nonprofit civil-rights organization founded to protect constitutional freedoms from administrative overreach. A key part of NCLAs mission is building and strengthening the alliance of stakeholders who support restoring the proper constitutional roles of the federal judiciary and the administrative state. The Engagement Associate will play a vital role in advancing this mission.
About the role
The New Civil Liberties Alliance (NCLA) seeks a highly organized motivated full-time Engagement Associate for a full-time internship to support its engagement and events teams in strengthening the alliance central to NCLAs mission of curbing administrative overreach. Reporting to Director of Engagement Karen Harned and based in Arlington VA (strong remote candidates considered) the Associate will help identify and cultivate alliance partners; assist with recruitment and programming for Summer Law Clerks and Ginsburg-Scalia Fellows; support development of an alumni activities and communications program; and contribute to events and special projects including the King George III Award competition and planning for NCLAs 10th Anniversary Gala in September 2026.
Position Overview
NCLA seeks a highly organized motivated Engagement Associate for a full-time internship. This role is central to the engagement and events teams and will help strengthen and expand NCLAs network of partners supporters and program alumni. The Associate will gain hands-on experience in outreach programming event support and strategic engagement while working closely with NCLA leadership.
