Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective engagement plans to foster good relations with various stakeholder groups including Legislative and District Council members community and political stakeholders and enhance their understanding of the Corporations business
Attend District Council meetings organise engagement events draft Legislative Council/District Council papers and presentation materials as well as support publicity and community outreach initiatives
Review requests for support handle enquiries and complaints from Legislative and District Council members government departments or relevant stakeholders
Requirements
Degree in Political Science / Journalism / Communications or a related discipline
A minimum of 5 years experience in journalism public relations external affairs or political engagement of which 1 year should be at supervisory level
Strong knowledge of current affairs and good understanding of Hong Kongs political landscape and social sentiment
Creative and analytical thinker with excellent communication interpersonal and organisation skills
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
Remarks
Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Senior External Affairs Executive position
Required to work outside office hours or take up media on-call duties when necessary
