This position is M-F 8:30a-5p
In addition to standard nurse practitioner duties this position serves as the Early Pregnancy and Family Planning Nurse Practitioner providing specialized education counseling and support services to individuals and couples seeking reproductive health guidance preconception planning and early pregnancy care.
The nurse practitioner ensures comprehensive patient-centered care while promoting informed decision-making and reproductive autonomy through contraception education fertility awareness counseling early pregnancy support including confirmation and referral coordination collaboration with clinical teams for timely prenatal or reproductive health services access community outreach and education development of culturally competent educational materials and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
This role requires providing comprehensive pregnancy options counseling and services including medication management for pregnancy termination patient counseling and provision of all forms of birth control maintaining accurate documentation while adhering to confidentiality standards and working with diverse populations using trauma-informed care and shared decision-making models.
Experience:
Candidates should possess minimum 2 years of reproductive or womens health experience
Strong knowledge of contraceptive methods and reproductive health guidelines excellent interpersonal and counseling skills
Preferably be bilingual with experience in clinical community health or nonprofit settings.

-Performs complete histories and physical examinations
-Orders interprets and evaluates appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests
-Develops appropriate plans of care and follow-up based on the outcomes of diagnostic laboratory and physical examination findings
-Consistently provides high quality and timely documentation including admission and progress notes procedure notes operative notes and discharge summaries
-Performs bedside procedures as are appropriate to the patient population
-Orders medications and writes prescriptions according to organizational and regulatory policies and procedures
