Position Summary

As a Training Specialist within the Assembly Accelerator Team you will play a key role in optimizing onboarding upskilling and cross-training initiatives for our manufacturing and assembly workforce. You will support continuous improvement by designing and delivering hands-on process-based training that accelerates employee readiness and operational excellence. This is a highly collaborative role working across engineering production quality and training functions to build a scalable and efficient workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Development & Design

Update technical training programs for assembly processes work instructions and tooling.

Create engaging practical learning content tailored to adult learners in a manufacturing/assembly environment.

Standardize training content across production lines and facilities in collaboration with SMEs and process engineers.

Training Delivery & Facilitation

Deliver in-person on-the-floor and classroom-based training for new hires and existing team members.

Conduct hands-on training and certifications for key assembly procedures and competencies.

Facilitate cross-training initiatives to increase workforce flexibility.

Performance & Quality Support

Monitor trainee performance and readiness during and after onboarding.

Collect feedback and training metrics to improve training effectiveness and reduce ramp-up time.

Support quality initiatives by ensuring procedural adherence and reinforcing right-first-time behavior.

Documentation & Systems

Maintain accurate training records using the Skill matrix and be sure that this is up-to-date.

Ensure all training content is current version-controlled and aligned with regulatory and quality requirements.

Collaborate with document control teams to align training with released documentation.
