Program Summary
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBRs enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contracts original prime contractor. Today we have a workforce of over 6000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 10 countries.
Job Summary
As an HSE Specialist you will play a crucial role in implementing health safety and environmental policies procedures and guidelines. Your responsibilities will include incident investigations and reports inspections and ensuring compliance with HSE standards in alignment with client federal state and local regulations as well as KBR policies and procedures. You will engage with various stakeholders including services personnel clients subcontractors and regulatory agencies interpreting standards codes and regulations. Additionally you will contribute to the development and implementation of KBR values systems and standards facilitating the collection and analysis of HSE statistics.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Implement health safety and environmental policies procedures and guidelines.
- Conduct incident investigations and create incident reports.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with HSE standards including client federal state and local regulations as well as KBR procedures.

- Interact with services personnel clients subcontractors and regulatory agencies to interpret standards codes and regulations.
- Conduct audits of company-operated properties based on regulatory requirements and auditing standards.
- Stay informed of regulatory requirements and auditing standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of KBR values systems and standards for capturing and analyzing HSE statistics.
- Perform administrative functions to support Occupational Health including medical physicals for KBR direct hire and subcontractor personnel.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and provide a high level of employee service.
- Work under general and occasional direct supervision to perform assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within the HSE field.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education Experience Skills and Certifications)
- Requires a Bachelors Degree and at least 2 years of directly related HSE experience. A High School Diploma and an additional 5 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Must be fluent in English (speaking reading and writing).
- Possess a valid drivers license with at least 6 months of remaining validity from the country/state of residency.
- Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education Experience Skills and Certifications)
- Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant HSE fields.
- Additional languages spoken.
- Extensive experience in HSE roles within diverse environments.
- Specialized training in specific areas of occupational health and safety.
- Familiarity with international HSE standards and practices.
- Prior experience working on stateside or overseas U.S. military facilities/installations.
- Proficiency in technology and programs supporting Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) HSE.
