Job Summary

Regional Group is seeking an experienced and reliableQuarry Supervisor for our Forbes Quarry.

About the Role:

The primary focus of the Quarry Supervisor would be the safe and efficient supervision of operation and sales at the Forbes quarry. With a focus on safety the Quarry Supervisor will have a heavy interest in the day-to-day duties supervision management and logistics of the hard rock quarry.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for Safety Performance of employees and subcontractors in conjunction with Legislative Requirements and the Mine Safety Management Plan.
Responsible for meeting and achieving production targets.
Responsible for Quality Control in conjunction with Clients requirements and the site-specific Quarry Management Plan.
Responsible for Continuous improvement.
Responsible for Quarry development and ongoing production plans for the Quarry.
Hazard identification through active completion of the risk assessment process.

Required skills and experience:

Excavator Loader Moxy operation experience
Crusher Experience
Mechanically minded
Strong mechanical aptitude including ability to lead maintenance days and respond to minor breakdowns
Ability to troubleshoot issues on crushers screens conveyors pumps and mobile plant
White Card
HR Licence
Experience working in a quarry environment preferred.
Relevant RII tickets
Excellent communication and organization skills
Strong Management and Leadership Skills
Ability to work effectively as a key team member in a production-driven environment
Demonstrated ability to mentor operators provide on-the-job training
Experience managing a small team in production or mining environments
