Job Summary
One of Maltas leading advisory firms is looking for aSenior Accountant to join their team.
In this role you will manage a portfolio of international clients across various industries as well as private clients. If youre looking for a new challenge this is the right opportunity for you.
This is a full-time office-based role offering a salary of up to 45K depending on experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients handling their financial and management accounting
- Oversee day-to-day accounting tasks prepare financial reports and ensure all information is accurate and up to date
- Handle VAT returns and ensure compliance with VAT regulations
- Prepare computations and returns for corporate income tax
- Train and assist junior accounting team members
Education Skills & Experience
- Fully qualified accountant in Malta non-negotiable
- 2 years of experience in a similar role in client accounting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English non-negotiable
- Proficient in Excel Word and Outlook
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Client-first approach
- Strong attention to detail
