English Teacher Experience and Qualifications

• A degree in English or a closely related subject
• QTS (e.g. PGCE) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Strong subject knowledge across the English curriculum
• A genuine passion for inspiring young people through literature and language
• Excellent classroom management communication and organisational skills
• The legal right to work in the UK

Experience in the independent sector is advantageous but not essential.
