About the Role
Opening securing and maintaining the school site
Carrying out minor repairs maintenance and decorating
Monitoring and maintaining heating lighting and alarm systems
Ensuring excellent standards of cleanliness and safety
Undertaking health & safety checks and reporting hazards
Supporting school events and liaising with contractors
Maintaining external areas including playgrounds and pathways
Experience and Qualifications
Previous caretaking or premises experience desirable
Strong practical maintenance skills
Good communication and organisation
Understanding of health & safety
Willingness to work flexibly
Salary
Paid according to local support staff pay scales.
