Your missions
You will be part of a local and collaborative Tax team. You will work under the supervision of the Business Unit Manager and you will be responsible for the tax relating to client companies in the allocated portfolio with a focus on a particular client sector and for supervising junior roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Tax Compliance
Review inspect and analyse various tax declarations
Review both internally and externally prepared tax returns
Ensure timely filing of tax returns prepared internally or by external providers
Oversee and monitor portfolio tax obligations and carry out all necessary controls
Prepare or review clients tax compliance status reports
Provide technical support to the Accounting and Legal teams on tax-related queries
Review invoicing information to ensure accuracy and compliance
Participate in meetings or calls with clients and tax advisors
Team Supervision
Manage and allocate the teams workload ensuring both quality and productivity
Oversee and monitor tax compliance obligations across the portfolio
Train and onboard new team members
Provide feedback on team performance to the Business Unit Manager of the Tax Department

Your ideal profile
- 57 years of experience in a similar Tax Compliance role.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Tax Law.
- Fluent/Native Spanish and advanced English (C1)
- Strong understanding of tax calculations (VAT CIT Withholding Taxes).
- Solid knowledge of financial accounting principles and how they apply to tax matters.
- Familiarity with STA procedures and tax authority regulations.
- Ability to interpret internal and external tax policies and regulations.
- Experience preparing reviewing and filing tax declarations and managing a portfolios tax obligations.
- Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP (depending on region).
- Ability to support audits review financial statements and manage tax notifications.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members.
- Ability to manage team workload ensure quality and support onboarding/training.
