We are a company specialized in the manufacturing of components for electric hybrid and internal combustion vehicles. We have the support of 4000 employees across 6 countries operating in 13 production units and 3 engineering centers to serve more than 100 clients.
At Draxton Lleida located in Cervera we want to hire a Customer Quality Engineer.
In this position the main responsibility is to analyse in depth the root cause of defective parts in order to establish countermeasures and reduce rejections as well as monitor continuous improvement to optimise processes. This position reports to the Quality Manager (Draxton Lleida).
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate process improvement activities with relevant departments to reduce variability defects and internal rejections.
- Manage PDCA cycles and continuous improvement plans ensuring proper implementation.
- Analyse root causes and report findings using tools such as SPC Pareto charts and Ishikawa diagrams to Quality and Production teams.
- Audit processes and products to ensure compliance with established procedures and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering on new projects and assist in design problem-solving by providing accurate process data.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of countermeasures and ensure ongoing operator training to maintain quality criteria.
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Previous experience in a Quality Department.
- Experience in the automotive sector.
- High level of English.
- Proactive and a strong team player.

- Full-time position with flexible to Thursday: start between 7:30 and 9:00 finish from 17:00 onwards. Friday: 7:00 to 15:00. Flexibility: start between 7:00 and 9:00 finish between 15:00 and 17:00.
