Duties:

Conduct advanced penetration tests and IT security assessments.
Identify vulnerabilities develop custom testing methodologies and provide technical guidance.
Prepare and present detailed reports and findings to stakeholders.
Stay up to date with the latest security threats and countermeasures.
Support continuous improvement auditing and automation initiatives.
Take responsibility for personal career growth training and knowledge sharing.
Participate in team activities and contribute to a positive work culture.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
Minimum of a BCom IT or BSc IT degree.
One or more of the following certifications:
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
Other recognised IT Security certifications

Experience:

4-6 years of relevant IT security experience.
At least 4 years of hands-on penetration testing experience

Skills & Competencies:

Resilient self-motivated and able to work independently
Strong analytical thinking problem-solving and quantitative skills
Effective collaboration and communication with teams and stakeholders
Ability to implement execute and follow through on tasks
Continuous learning and professional self-improvement
Technical expertise in vulnerability scanning Python Metasploit Nmap Linux server administration IT infrastructure and database structures
Solid understanding of web application vulnerabilities injection attacks port scanning brute forcing DoS firewalls and general IT controls
