Job Summary

Perm candidates of any OTHER providence facility ( NON SWEDISH ) are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months. All Swedish facilities honor active compact license. 3 Yr Exp UNIT DOES NOT ACCEPT FIRST TIME TRAVELER Call Required: Yes typically 6 evenings and one weekend per 6 weeks Weekend Shifts Per Contract: typically one weekend per 6 week on stand by. must respond within 30 minutes of call back. - Medication System: Pyxis - Documentation system: EPIC McKesson - Communication: SBAR UNIT DETAILS - procedures room. 3 cath labs one hybrid OR SKILLS Work Settings - Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab (REQUIRED) - Special Procedures (PREFERRED Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures - REQUIRED: Cardiac Stent Placement Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult IABP Placement/Removal Impella insertion Left heart catheterization Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) Right heart catheterization Rotablader athrectomy Temporary Pacemaker Ventricular Assist Device Insertion - PREFERRED: Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) Pulmonary Artery (PA) line insertion Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR) Watchman Equipment and Devices (REQUIRED) - Fluoroscopy Siemens Procedural Responsibilities (REQUIRED) - Accurate monitoring Equipment set up Perform EKG lead placement Prep access site Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias Room circulator Scrub- maintain sterile field Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose StarClose) Professional Knowledge and Skills - REQUIRED: Isolation Precautions - PREFERRED: Use of Rapid Response team Scrubs: Provided All units that have on- call requirements require a 30-minute response time. It is outlined as a standard requirement in the unit description. All Swedish facilities with units that necessitate on-call coverage have a response time of 30 min from when the traveler is called in.
