Job Duties

Performance Evaluation & Employee Records
Administer and maintain the hospitals performance evaluation system ensuring completion within required timelines.
Track and follow up with managers and employees on overdue evaluations.
Support leaders in understanding performance process requirements and system navigation.
Professional License & Certification Management
Monitor and maintain records for employee professional licenses and certifications required by state federal and hospital policy.
Run compliance reports; follow up with staff and managers regarding upcoming expirations or missing credentials.
Ensure accurate documentation for regulatory surveys and audits.
Completes PSV for all licenses and certification.
Student & Clinical Learner Onboarding
Coordinate the onboarding process for students interns and clinical rotations ensuring all requirements are met prior to placement.
Collect verify and track required documents such as immunizations background checks training certificates and affiliation approvals.
Serve as a liaison between academic institutions department leaders and the HR team.
University Affiliation Agreement Management
Maintain an inventory of all active university and clinical affiliation agreements.
Track expiration dates initiate renewals and collaborate with Legal/Compliance teams as appropriate.
Ensure agreements meet regulatory accreditation and organizational standards.


Regulatory Survey Compliance
Partner with the HR Director to ensure continuous survey readiness for Joint Commission DOH and other regulatory bodies.
Assists with the preparation of HR documentation credential files and compliance records for audits and surveys.
Assist with corrective action plans following survey findings.


Onboarding & Orientation
Follow up on missing documents such as background checks health clearances I-9s and mandatory training.
Ensure all onboarding steps are completed in accordance with organizational policy and regulatory requirements.
Ensure all transfer steps are completed in accordance with organization policy and regulatory requirement


General HR Support
Provide guidance to managers and staff on HR policies procedures and best practices.
Participate in HR projects process improvements and system upgrade as needed.
Process all job postings and transfer requests.

Qualifications

Education
Bachelors degree in human resources Business Administration Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.

Skills
24 years of human resources experience; healthcare or hospital HR experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of healthcare regulatory and accreditation requirements (e.g. Joint Commission CMS state DOH).
Strong organizational communication and follow-up skills.
Ability to manage confidential information and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Salary commensurate with experience within posted range

$65000-$90000/ Year
