About the Role
You will work in various sections of the Haematology laboratory and be responsible for the processing of specimens according to established laboratory procedures and issuing of results relevant to these specimens.
Work as part of a team to achieve high quality work and produce accurate and timely reports.
Testing and release of results including transfusion haematology coagulation and blood film morphology
Classifications for this position will range from RX1 - RX7 ($63674 - $91785.2 per annum)
Your Contribution
Bachelor of Science Bachelor of Applied Science or equivalent AIMS accredited degree
Sound knowledge of clinical haematology and its practical applications
Competence in interpreting blood transfusion haematological results and blood film examination
Good interpersonal communication and time management skills
Current National criminal history check or willing to obtain

St Vincents Pathology is committed to the provision of a comprehensive high quality diagnostic and consultative pathology service for St Vincents campuses GPs and medical specialists in the Melbourne area.
Pathology services are centralised at SVH Fitzroy in Patient Services Building
