40 Hours Evenings 3p-11p Sunday-Thursday (Friday/Saturday off) Full-Time Benefit Eligible
Position Summary:
The Patient Transporter is an integral part of the patient care team providing prompt courteous customer-focused service to the patients visitors and coworkers of Boston Medical Center. The Patient Transporter is responsible for patient transport within the hospital and for miscellaneous functions as well. He/she contributes to service excellence by fostering collaboration among and between team members as well as other ancillary departments.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
Experience: Previous hospital experience preferred
Certification/Licensure: BLS/CPR certification preferred
Ability to read write and communicate in English
Ability to lift without any limitations
Compensation Range:
$17.40- $25.85This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer.
