This exciting role provides a procurement service to the laboratories and field-based functions. As part of this role youll liaise with suppliers of services to the laboratory and sampling functions and provide a facilities service for the laboratories.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Support Services Manager
• Ensure all visitors to site are signed in and supervised during their visit
• Prepare meeting rooms and ensure all consumables are available
• Make staff aware of deliveries
• Procurement activities including SAP ordering monitoring of temporary staff contracts/orders and day to day operation of contracts for the supply of lab chemicals and equipment
• Be the first point of contact to deal with any enquiries relating to ordering or delivery of goods and / or services
• Deal with general lab service queries
• Maintain SAP in line with training and guidance
• Accurate and current records of spend to be kept
• Maintenance of monthly standard reports

• Able to communicate with people at all levels
• Reliable and committed
• Able to deal with answering account queries processing payments and being an excellent first point of contact
• Ideally you will be SAP trained
• Ability to help customers over the phone and in person
• Able to prioritise effectively
• Accurate data input into various databases and spreadsheets
• Confident telephone manner
