This is a part time 0.8 FTE position. Shifts will be between the hours of 1200-2400. Days of the week to be discussed during interview but could include weekend shifts. Hours and days may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay:

Pay range is based on a full-time (100%) position.
This position may be eligible for a $8000 sign-on bonus

Each person who enters the Emergency Department (ED) doors with a mental health crisis receives services meticulously tailored to their unique needs.

We are seeking a Mental Health Clinician to:

Prioritize creating an environment where patients feel valued and understood.
Provide diagnostic assessment and treatment to patients and their families presenting to the Emergency Department and on the inpatient units with mental health crisis/concerns.
Empower patients choices and respect their autonomy by being transparent and engaging them in every step of their care.
Work closely with the Emergency Department team in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Work closely with the Psychiatry Consult-Liaison and on-call Psychiatry teams on safety and admission-related decisions.

Qualifications

Masters Degree in Social Work Counseling Psychology Marriage and Family Therapy or other behavioral health related field Required

Work Experience

1 year of experience providing evidence-based treatments for a variety of mental health and behavioral diagnoses for children adolescents and adults Required
1 year of crisis management skills in hospital clinic or emergency department crisis center counseling Psychiatric Emergency Services or Crisis Stabilization unit preferred Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Upon Hire Required or
Licensed Professional Counselor Upon Hire Required or
Licensed Marriage/Family Therapist Upon Hire Required and
CPR/BLS certification Upon Hire Required
