Job Description:
Inside of TADYs CoC (Aircraft Systems Centre of Competence) Highly Integrated Systems (HIS) is a newly created organization (Domain) with specific responsibilities in Multisystem Architectures Airborne Computing Platforms IMA and Modular Integration HW/SW Certification and Infrastructure and Digitalization acting as Multisystem and IMA Design Office and providing transversal support and services to the whole Systems CoC. This organization has been created to evolve and prepare the CoCs organization to the new challenges and paradigms in the Systems design to attend current and future customer needs and to foster reuse common strategies alignment economy of scale multisystem architectures and digitalization. The aim is to deliver cross-functional strategies artefacts and support for the design development and certification of AirPower systems by centralizing competencies expertise and activities to act as Multisystem Design Office.
Inside of the Multisystem Design Office HIS is looking for an Multisystem Integration Verification & Validation Engineer for one of the Airbus UAV programs.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The Multisystem Integration Verification & Validation Engineer shall be responsible for the identification of the V&V Objectives for the Multisystem necessary to validate and verify the end product and shall define the strategy and means of the coverage of these objectives performing or delegating when necessary the test definitions and execution to external partners (Design Offices test departments FAL (Final Assembly Line) and MAP (Mise Au Point) teams). The idea is to bound all the test activities that are necessary to validate and verify the Multi-System element (Function and Component) with the product.
TheMultisystem Integration Verification & Validation Engineeris responsible for planning coordinating and consolidating allVerification and Validation (V&V)activities across system levels and stakeholders involved in the integration of Multisystems from L3/L2 integration benches to aircraft-level validation (L1). This role ensures that V&V activities are consistent complete traceable and aligned with certification objectives. The Multisystem Integration Verification & Validation Engineer acts as thecentral orchestratorbetween all verification actors infrastructures and technical domains.
TheMultisystem Integration Verification & Validation Engineerplays a key role in establishingconfidencein the integrated system by ensuring that all layers of verificationfrom software partitions to full aircraft behaviorare coherent certifiable and traceable. This role bridgestechnical process and certification perspectives and is critical in large modular programs where distributed development and complex integration environments are the norm.
It leads V&V strategies and supports execution test campaigns on benches (L3 development benches L2 integration benches RIG) supports aircraft-level test execution (GT/FT) and collects all verification artifacts required by certification authorities. HIS also supports functional test reviews and integration with ATAXX teams and test centers ensuring no late discovery of integration defects.
The Multisystem Integration Verification and Validation Engineer plays a key role in establishing confidence in the integrated system by ensuring that all layers of verificationfrom software partitions to full aircraft behaviorare coherent certifiable and traceable. This role bridges technical process and certification perspectives and is critical in large and modular programs where distributed development and complex integration environments are in place.
Required Skills
For such purposes the following skills are required:
Advanced level of knowledge of Aircraft System Design
Advanced level of knowledge of MBSE
Advanced level of knowledge of Matlab Simulink
Advanced level of knowledge of Simulink Requirements and Simulink Test
Advanced level of knowledge of Aircraft and System Architecture
Advanced level of knowledge of Systems V&V Processes at L1/L2/L3 levels (Definition Coordination Execution Qualification Formalization and traceability)
Knowledge of Certification processes (DO-178C ARP4754B)
Demonstrated experience in the definition and execution of End-to-End Operational Test Scenarios
Demonstrated experience with the usage of Mutisystem Integration Test RIGs.
Language Skills: English at negotiation level .
