Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the margin review progress for the assigned Sub-Regions to deliver margin review result timely and accurately
- Guide the other analysts thru the process and provide support to deliver the results as a team for the assigned portfolio
- Work with the proper region stakeholders including Operations Finance Controllership Commercial & Productivity Teams to understand impacts due to unit operations market dynamics etc. Be the go-to person for questions related to modeling on his assigned portfolio
- Work with other region leads & margin review managers to share best practices. Identify and communicate risk and opportunities for the assigned portfolio
- Identify and communicate risk and opportunities for the assigned portfolio.
- Lead the Daily Management processes for the region portfolio
- Understand contractual terms & conditions; identify potential risks & opportunities
- Understand gas turbine technology operating & maintenance considerations.
- Understand Multi Year agreements policies modeling procedures & business forecasting standards.
- Provide detailed scenario & variance analysis; identify & recommend ways to maximize contractual profitability.
- Provide training and analytical support to the Operations team in ongoing contract execution to maximize contract profitability based on unit operational profile contractual requirements technology state of the art and financial / accounting rules within GE Gas Power.
- Support Operations & Finance teams on financial forecasting pacing and renegotiation analysis by executing What-If Simulations and scenarios for different operating / contractual alternatives.
- Assess and review the accounting policy updates into the financial models as needed analyzing and reporting financial impacts
- Reduce cycle time for the Contract Margin Review process by means of improving the Modeling Tool with a close collaboration with the IT team of project managers & software developers.
- Support and implement simplification initiatives to expedite the analytical review of the contracts and reduce low value activities on the Contract Review Process.
- Communicate regarding all the above topics to any level of management; proactively engage others and influence to drive action.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree preferably in Engineering Finance or Technical field from an accredited university or college complemented with experience in industrial area.
- Advanced MS Excel user with experience on sensitivity analysis & simulation processes.
- At least 1 year work experience using Advance Modelling Platform (AMP) tool
- Good understanding of Asia pole Contractual Services portfolio (including CSA Accounting)
- At least 5 years work experience ideally in an analytical role or project/process management role combined with business exposure.
- Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with great communication ability.
- Results oriented and deadline driven personality
- Fluent in English

- Very Strong interpersonal & leadership abilities.
- Demonstrated success in a leadership role with ability to influence others in a highly matrixed environment.
