SUMMARY
We are looking to hire a Chiller Technician to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Experience in on-demand service calls on commercial industrial and institutional chiller equipment specializing in Chillers and Cooling Towers
- Able to perform planned maintenance on centrifugal screw reciprocating and scroll compressors; with York Daikin Trane Carrier Smardt Arctic Cool Tandem and Multistack chillers.
- Experience conducting or assisting overhauls on chillers troubleshooting and diagnosing repairs needed.
- Remains current with new technology and ability to adapt
- Read interpret create and maintain drawings and specifications.
- Install air conditioning heating and related equipment and components.
- Overhaul and service air conditioning heating units and systems.
- Repair replace and adjust worn or broken components on HVAC equipment
- Repair and adjust refrigeration valves piping connections fittings and couplings.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with heating and air conditioning systems.
- Install motors thermostats humidistats and other HVAC components
- Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned apprentices.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.
- Other duties as required
- Provide exceptional customer service
Qualifications:
- HVAC License & Gas required
- 5 years experience in service and maintenance of chillers
- Manufacturer training is an asset
- Possess a valid driver license with a clean driving record.
