General Summary:
Under the direction of the Manager Rehabilitation provides occupational therapy services to patients following the plan of care established by an occupational therapist.
Essential Functions:
- Implements the plan of care developed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Instructs client and caregiver in treatment programs precautions and equipment use as necessary and documents client/caregiver demonstration of instructions provided.
- Documents client status and progression towards achievement of outcomes on each visit in measureable parameters.
- Submits accurate and complete billing for each patient.
- Is responsible to work within the guidelines and authorization provided by the individuals insurance coverage AND/OR Medicare guidelines.
- Demonstrates dependability/flexibility in meeting scheduling needs of the department and facility.
- Consistently strives to be a productive member of the institution and always puts time to good use.
