About the Role
Akey member of the Ecosystem and Partnerships departmentthe ProgramAnalystsupports the day-to-day tasks of running programs that foster innovation and company growthplaying a pivotal role inleveragingdata to drive are looking for a detail-oriented individualwhoexcels at reviewing complex reports analyzing quantitative and qualitative data and synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations for executive ProgramAnalystwillalsoprepare and review contract documents and coordinate collect assemble and review financial and progress reports. The successful candidate will play a key role in sharing information and collaborating with other departments as well as external program partners and the stakeholder community.
A major focus of the role issupportingthe delivery of Road to Web Summit Vancouver (R2WSV)and otherpartnerinitiativesensuring these flagship activities arecoordinated andgenerate measurable outcomes.
The ideal candidate is highly organized data-savvy results-oriented with the ability to balance multiple projects and stakeholders while using evidence-based insights to drive program impact.
Compensation:$56000-$65000plus a comprehensive benefits package
Reporting to: Director Partnerships
Location: Vancouver BC
Work Arrangement: Hybrid role with a requirement to work in-office at least 2 days per week

What You Will Be Doing
Program Performance & Data Analysis
  • Review analyze and interpret program and partner reports toidentifytrends risks and opportunities.
  • Collect audit and synthesize data from multiple sources ensuring accuracy and relevance for decision-making.
  • Prepare comprehensive status reports executive summaries and presentations for senior leadership highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) program impact and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead program evaluations using data-driven insights to recommend improvements to program criteria processes and technology platforms.
  • Support budget forecasting and planning with data analysis ensuring resources areallocatedeffectively.
  • Conduct special studies and present findings to internal and external stakeholders including executive teams and committees.
Program Design & Delivery
  • Support program designincorporatingdata-driven methodologies and measurable outcomes.
  • Track monitor and audit ongoing projects including deliverables budgets and expenditures to ensure compliance with policies and standards and project agreements.
  • Develop program materials and reportsthat clearly communicate results and recommendations.
  • Administer programs ensuring that objectives and targets are met in a timely and effective manner.
  • Participate in program evaluations and make recommendations for improvement including program criteria processes and software platforms.
  • Assist in managing program budgets ensuring resources are allocated effectively and expenses are controlled within approved limits.
  • Coordinate program intake review program applications and provide recommendations for approval.
  • Communicate with delivery partners and lead the review of their progress and financial reports.
Stakeholder and Community Management:
  • Providedata-backedadvice information andassistanceto ecosystem stakeholders (applicants program participants partners)regardingspecific programs and refer them to other programs and agencies when appropriate.
  • Support program activities through webinars events and meetings; facilitate engagement with the broader innovation ecosystem.
  • Develop knowledge and maintain awareness of the ecosystem (partners similar programs) and expertise in the field of programming.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other IBC staff program funders and support agencies and provide regular program information statistics and reports.
  • Attend events conferences and workshops and initiate other promotional activities in conjunction with communications staff and other departments.
  • Coordinate or support any programs-related committees (industry advisory evaluation reviewer) as applicable.

What You Will Need
  • Post-secondary degree in business with considerable research and program administration experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis report writing and presenting findings to executive audiences.
  • Advanced analytical skills includingproficiencyin MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint)and experience with online information management systems.
  • Strong understanding of the innovation ecosystem in BC is an asset.
