Job Description
A well-established and reputable business based in Whitby is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional looking to influence strategic decision-making and play a key role in driving business performance. On offer is a competitive salary of up to 75000 along with a great benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
As the Senior Finance Business Partner your duties will include (but are not limited to):
Providing strategic financial insight to support commercial and operational decision-making
Leading budgeting forecasting and business planning processes
Analysing financial performance identifying trends variances and opportunities for improvement
Partnering with commercial and operational teams to provide actionable financial guidance
Preparing management reports dashboards and KPIs to monitor business performance
Supporting senior leadership in evaluating investment decisions and business initiatives
Presenting complex financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels
Ideal Candidate Profile
To succeed in this Senior Finance Business Partner role you should ideally have:
A recognised professional accountancy qualification or similar experience
Proven experience in a finance business partnering or senior management finance role
Strong analytical problem-solving and data presentation skills
Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and challenge effectively
Commercial awareness and the ability to translate financial data into strategic actions
Location & Travel
This opportunity is easily commutable from Scarborough Guisborough Redcar Pickering Middlesbrough and surrounding areas.
