Job Summary
The company is looking for an ambitious highly driven manager to join their team. The Director of Precision & Equipment Monitoring will be responsible for the Precision Specialist and the Equipment monitoring team he or she will support the retail sales team and the product support team for everything related to precision and equipment monitoring.
Responsibilities:
o The director will lead the optimization of the precision business activities for our agriculture and construction business segment.
o Understand the market and communicate information as needed to staff to increase technology market share.
o You will work closely with sales managers and product support team to incorporate technology into every discussion and sale.
o Meet and follow all the precision and connected equipment manufacturer requirements (precision certification connected equipment critical alerts etc.)
o Understand the technical terms of GPS/GLONASS application control accu and row guidance telematics precision harvesting systems section control mapping and variable rates in cab technology.
o Be an active and highly visible participant in precision agriculture and construction. industry groups and events and keep abreast of competitive activity and competitive precision products and technology.
o Responsible for providing ongoing precision training to the precision specialists sales representatives and product support team to ensure an understanding of precision technologies and equipment monitoring tools.
o Create and implement an equipment monitoring team that will manage all connected equipment and critical alerts.
o Promote the digital customer onboarding of equipment monitoring tools such as MyNewHolland / MyCaseContruction / FieldOps
o Ensure an up and running correction network (in-house New-Net RTK etc.).
o Oversee the annual subscription maintenance and renewal notices.
o Analyze new technology business segments like drones applications in agriculture and construction.
o Understand proper machine settings for application conditions / crops and provide recommendations
o Responsible for managing the centralized precision technology parts inventory.
o Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety standards. The company is committed to the protection and wellness of its employees.
Key attributes needed to be successful in this position:
o Bachelor of Science in Geomatics with a land surveyor background or civil engineers and geomatics engineers
o Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in French and English.
o A results-driven leader with a passion for continuous improvement and a drive to succeed.
