Job Summary:
The Kiosk Team Member a vital part of the Casino Cage team is responsible for the secure accurate and timely servicing of all self-service wagering ATM and jackpot payout equipment. This role is highly focused on transferring funds performing maintenance troubleshooting operational issues and maintaining strict adherence to compliance standards (including Title 31).

Responsibilities:

  • Executes the secure transfer of funds from the Casinos main bank/vault inventory to the designated inventory used for kiosk and ATM replenishment.
  • Performs all scheduled and emergency refills/credits (replenishments) for self-service kiosks ATMs and jackpot payout machines ensuring minimal downtime for guests.
  • Prepares and organizes kiosk currency cassettes and coin bags for all scheduled daily fills.
  • Performs the secure drop process which includes removing and securing used currency cassettes and auditing ticket/cash deposits.
  • Counts verifies and reconciles the returned currency from cassettes using high-speed counting equipment performing regular inventory counts of all transferred and returned funds.
  • Prepares meticulous paperwork for each fund transfer drop and fill generates necessary reconciliation documents and maintains accurate auditable records of all transactions.
  • Diagnoses and resolves operational problems with the equipment including actively fixing currency and ticket jams in acceptors and dispensers to ensure the equipment is quickly returned to use.
  • Performs scheduled preventative maintenance on a regular basis to maintain quality function improve equipment life and prevent future downtime on all currency and coin equipment used.
  • Provides light maintenance to equipment and assists external technicians with more complex repairs when required.
  • Ensures the surrounding equipment areas are clean and immediately reports any complex mechanical or system irregularities to a supervisor or IT personnel.
  • Maintains strict adherence to all department policies and procedures demonstrating strong knowledge of Title 31 (Bank Secrecy Act) requirements and all other gaming regulations related to cash and fund transfers.
  • Adheres strictly to all internal controls and security protocols established for cash handling currency movement and kiosk access.
  • Maintains a stable and positive background adheres strictly to the established department dress code and upholds the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Provides prompt friendly and courteous service to all guests in a confidential manner which may include assisting guests needing help or having issues with a self-service kiosk or ATM.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred casino experience a plus.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Catawba Gaming License as required by tribal and state authorities.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn and explain kiosk functions quickly.
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing using the English language.
  • Ability to work an alternate schedule as needed to include nights weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a loud fast-paced environment (may occasionally be exposed to secondhand cigarette smoke).

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; bend to open/use lower drawers or cabinetry; to talk hear and see. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
