Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking CT Technologist Contractfor an exciting job in New York NY.

Responsibilities

Perform CT procedures following established protocols to ensure accurate high-quality diagnostic images.
Apply proper kV and mA techniques for optimal imaging outcomes.
Conduct daily equipment calibration and quality-control checks.
Administer contrast materials per physician orders and protocol guidelines.
Order and verify patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses as required.
Follow radiation safety practices consistent with ALARA standards.
Complete all necessary departmental documentation including logs charge sheets and equipment reports.
Perform quality-control and safety testing per regulatory requirements.
Manage and retrieve patient imaging data for radiologist review.
Support patient comfort and safety before during and after imaging procedures.

Qualifications

Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T.).
ARRT certification in Radiography and CT (current).
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
BLS certification required.
Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience.
Strong knowledge of CT protocols contrast handling and radiation-safety standards.
Excellent communication patient-care and troubleshooting skills.
