OQC Inspector
Hourly Salary Rate: $24.00/hr
Work Schedule: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Job Description/Responsibilities:
Mechanical Electrical and Cosmetic Inspection of manufactured products including medical devices.
Perform Final Outgoing Quality Inspection on products prior to shipping.
Perform In-Process Inspection of the products at various manufacturing process steps.
Perform product line process audits to ensure products are built per established manufacturing work instructions.
Communicate with Engineering and Program Management concerning discrepancies found and/or reject issues.
Responsible for reporting any non-conformance/defects during the manufacturing process via DGS system (Ventures MES System).
Must be able to recommend disposition for nonconforming Incoming Inspection parts at production.
Must be able to Follow Inspect and Disposition manufactured products according to Inspection Instructions and Checklists.
Responsible for controlled product documents used during inspection.
Responsible for notifying Quality Supervisor Quality Manager or Quality Engineer of any quality issues in production.
Job Requirements:
High School Education or equivalent
1 year of general mechanical/electrical quality inspection experience of manufactured products.
Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
Ability to read and understand Inspection Instructions in English is a must.
Able to communicate and write in English is a must.
Computer literate.
Preferred but Not Required:
IPC-A-620 CIS or CIT Certification Through IPC Organization.
Experience in ISO13485 (Medical) and AS9100 (Aerospace) products is a plus.
FDA-STD requirements is a plus.
Required Skills:
