Job Summary
On behalf of financial services technology client we are looking to hire an experienced Senior Accountant/ Finance Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for a steady detail-oriented finance professional seeking a long-term role with flexibility and autonomy.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director the Senior Accountant/ Finance Manager will oversee all day-to-day financial operations for a small but growing business. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys end-to-end responsibility across bookkeeping payroll oversight and statutory reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations including bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Process supplier invoices payments and expense claims
- Oversee outsourced payroll and ensure timely accurate completion each month
- Prepare and submit VAT and other statutory returns
- Support month-end close and management accounts preparation
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Accounting Technician Part-Qualified/ Qualified Accountant (ACCA CPA CIMA) or equivalent
- 10 years experience in an SME or similar hands-on finance environment
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping VAT and payroll processes
- Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to work
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
