Receive truck and driver data from the Fleet Coordinator and schedule daily trips according to operational plans.
Coordinate with drivers and monitor truck movements to ensure adherence to schedules and on-time delivery.
Communicate with customers to confirm pickup and delivery times resolving any delays or issues promptly.
Track trips using monitoring systems or daily reports and prepare operational performance reports for management.
Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges (delays breakdowns or road disruptions) in coordination with drivers and the Fleet Coordinator to maintain service levels.
Provide regular updates to management and customers regarding trip status and key operational insights.
Act as a key liaison between customers drivers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
Contribute to improving daily operational procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related field (preferred).
1-3 years of experience in logistics transportation or a similar role ideally within a trucking/transportation environment.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel Word PowerPoint etc.).
Familiarity with logistics management systems or transportation software is an advantage.
