Job Summary

Job Title: Business Analyst Capital Markets

Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed business analysis for Capital Markets research trading workflows reference data and related financial processes.
Collaborate closely with business users to gather requirements clarify needs and understand functional and domain-specific expectations.
Translate business requirements into clear concise functional and technical specifications for development teams.
Work directly with developers to ensure requirements are accurately understood and implemented.
Provide system enhancement recommendations based on business needs market practices and process gaps.
Use advanced SQL skills to analyze large datasets validate business rules perform impact analysis and support data-driven decision-making.
Identify issues proactively in early stages and work with QA and Development teams to ensure timely remediation.
Support defect triaging root-cause analysis and solution validation throughout the testing cycles.
Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) by preparing test cases validating results and gathering feedback from business stakeholders.
Maintain clear documentation including requirements process flows and specifications.
Ensure alignment between business objectives and delivered solutions maintaining high quality and accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

710 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Capital Markets Investment Banking or Trading Systems.
Strong understanding of financial products such as equities fixed income derivatives market data and risk-related concepts.
Strong SQL skills with experience analyzing and validating complex datasets.
Excellent communication documentation and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including business users developers and QA.
Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify issues early and propose solutions.
